Our team is growing and we’re excited to be adding a second designer to assist with all client interfacing. The Interior Designer will work directly with the Principal Designer on all client projects from start to finish. We are looking for someone who is passionate about good design and has an exceptional attention to detail. Great interpersonal and communication skills are a must, as well as a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Attend all client meetings and assist in the design process for residential projects
- Assist in the selection of interior and exterior finishes for new home construction and remodels
- Document chosen selections into the necessary purchasing software
- Manage product offerings and inventory records of the selection center
- Source new products and maintain relationships with local showrooms
- Create Design Boards to be used for client meetings
- Assist in online shop order processing and fulfillment
- Assist field team with on-site client walk throughs throughout construction
- Coordinate installation of furniture for client and model homes
- Obtain bids and pricing to present to clients
Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or Related Field
- Proficient in Sketchup
- Fluent in Photoshop and InDesign
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- AutoCAD and/or Revit knowledge helpful but not required
- Hardworking self-starter with a passion for design
- Detail oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to think outside of the box push the creative envelope
- Must be willing to travel for projects
- Strong Interpersonal Skills are a MUST, customer service experience very helpful
