BENJAMIN MOORE CLASSIC GRAY

Classic Gray is used in the main living space at #thetonkahouse

For us, Classic Gray is the chameleon of neutrals. We love using it as a soft neutral that works as a base for any decor style. While this is a universal shade, it still offers the perfect amount of contrast against white trim. We’ve used it in the #thetonkahouse, the #raspberryhillhouse, and #thetreehousereno, and we love how versatile it is!

BENJAMIN MOORE SWISS COFFEE

Swiss Coffee was used in the foyer at #thelakeloft

We have to say that Swiss Coffee is the perfect choice for a neutral off-white color that works beautifully for interiors and exteriors alike. It tends to look slightly warm in tone, but never yellow! We used Swiss Coffee at #thelakeloft, and we love how inviting it makes our entryway feel.

BENJAMIN MOORE GRAY OWL

We used Gray Owl at the #daytonhorsehouse in the main living space

Gray Owl is a tried and true shade of ours that definitely lyes on the true grey spectrum. It’s more of a mid to light neutral gray, and it’s one of Benjamin Moore’s best-selling neutral paint colors. If you’re looking for a gray paint color that adds some brightness but is still gray, then we recommend this paint color!

BENJAMIN MOORE ALASKAN SKIES

Alaskan Skies was used at the #independencecustom in the main living space

The perfect neutral shade might not exist, but Alaskan Skies certainly comes close! We find that this neutral shade is both peaceful and luminous at the same time, making it a go-to for living rooms, kitchens, and even bathrooms. It works almost anywhere. Alaskan Skies is a Benjamin Moore Classic (for obvious reasons)!

BENJAMIN MOORE SEA PEARL

Sea Pearl was used in the pool bath at the #countrysidecustom

Sea Pearl is our go-to neutral white shade and is a part of the Benjamin Moore Off-White Color collection. This shade is inherently sophisticated and endlessly versatile for any space within your home. Sea Pearl offers the clean and crisp white look you’re after while also bringing warmth and character to your space. It’s truly a jack of all trades!

I salute you for explaining in such detail that grey and white are some of the paint colors we could consider should we wish to create a timeless appearance for our home. My wife and I have decided to redecorate our living room this fall. This tip would be really useful when we ask a painter to help us out later.

  2. I applaud you for describing in such depth why white and grey are some of the paint colors we can think about using if we want to give our house a classic look. This fall, my wife and I want to remodel our living room. When we subsequently seek the assistance of a residential interior painter, this advice will be really helpful.
