The kitchen needed a focal point, so we ditched the tacky microwave and replaced it with a chimney-style range hood. It looks stunning against the marble backsplash, and it helps the room feel a little more open.
We completely stripped the living room fireplace to its studs, replaced the unit, and added natural stone to the ceiling.
The living room carpets were ripped out and replaced with gorgeous hardwood flooring. We also updated the trim, and finished the space by painting the walls a classic grey.
In the office, we wanted to redesign the built-in unit with an updated look and accessible shelving. To do this, we removed the center glass cabinet doors and reconfigured the shelving. We also removed the arch from the center of the unit to create a more contemporary, linear look.
We wanted to transform the built-in buffet into an entertainment nook with plenty of storage for wine and cocktail necessities. So, we ripped out the upper cabinets and installed a thin brick backsplash. The cabinets were replaced with two wine racks and reclaimed wood shelving.
