welcome home

Jump into spring this year with some fun new paint colors! Update anything from a bathroom, bedroom, or office, to even some cabinets or furniture. Whether you are a fan of midwest seasons or not, the fun thing about them is how the dramatic weather changes inspire us to change our surroundings a bit. It keeps things interesting and fresh because I don’t know about you, but being in a space that I love puts me in a great mindset and mood! Read more for the colors we’re incorporating in our spring facelift.

SW Contented

Sherwin Williams’ Contented color is the perfect dreamy green color. With undertones of blue and gray, this color creates a muted, calm atmosphere for any space, especially on some bead board like in the image above. We’re here for the quaint, vintage vibes!

SW Rainwashed

Another soft, calm green is Sherwin Williams’ Rainwashed. This shade leans more blue, making it feel serene and peaceful. Perfect for a bedroom, or maybe a laundry room to ease the stress of the dreaded chore- HA!

SW Malted Milk

Sherwin Williams’ Malted Milk makes me want to go to a malt shop and have myself a sweet treat! It might be a little dangerous to be surrounded by it in a room. Although, the danger would 100% worth it after looking at the bedroom above!

SW Ivory Lace

If you lean towards a more neutral color palette, Sherwin Williams’ Ivory Lace is such an adorable white. The creamy shade has a hint of pink undertones to warm it up and pairs well with many other colors. Shown in the nursery above, Ivory Lace would also brighten up a powder bath or office!

Farrow & Ball Blue Grey No. 91

#KennyReno By Alma Homes

Farrow & Ball’s Blue Grey No. 91 adds the perfect touch to this Scandinavian-inspired kitchen at our #KennyReno home. Cooking would be so much better in such an inviting space like this. Even though there are no windows directly in the kitchen, you probably didn’t even notice until I just pointed it out!

BM Majestic Mauve

Source: Birch + Benjamin

Benjamin Moore nailed it when naming this paint Majestic Mauve! I can’t even imagine the bathroom above feeling as majestic without the soft touch of the light purple paint. Something about it just makes me want to take a bubble bath and stare at the walls.

Feeling inspired? I definitely am after looking at all the light, airy, pastel paint colors! It’s hard to see these inspiration images and NOT want to go paint a wall, LOL. Let us know if you are doing a complete makeover or just a small refresh to a room with one of these colors.
