Welcome to the #countrysidecustom pool bath! A lot of people that came through the house didn’t even know this hidden gem existed. Why is that?! Because you have to go OUTSIDE to get to it…something we don’t like to do in MN in the winter, amiright?! But, don’t worry, we won’t let you pass by this hidden treasure!
First things first, we have to talk about the floor! We used this gorgeous pebble tile…and guys, we are so in love! It brings loads of character to the room and has enough texture and variety to hide any dirt smudges – the perfect option for a pool bath filled with wet kids and mucky feet!
As you may know by now, I am a huge fan of mixing metals and materials to bring variety and interest to a space. Behind the bathroom door, we installed floating reclaimed wood shelves. They contrast beautifully against the shiplap walls and are the perfect place for additional towel storage — something you can never have too much of.
Speaking of storage, when first entering the pool bath, to the left you will see a built-in storage/bench unit as well as plenty of hooks and shelves for all the towel space you could want. I think you would agree, you can never go wrong with ample storage options!
So there you have it! This hidden gem ended definitely tops the list of favorite rooms in this house! Grab your floaties because this bathroom is pool party ready! 🙂 We’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments!
