Welcome to, in my opinion, the cutest corner of the #countrysidecustom, the girls’ bathroom! AHH, I can hardly contain my excitement! 🙂 This room is the ultimate 6 year old oasis complete with pink accents and shimmery tile. By the end of this blog post, I think you’ll be wishing you were this lucky little girl!
Did someone say PINK tub?? Yup. That’s right, this bathroom has a bright pink freestanding tub paired with adorable iridescent penny tiles from Kate-Lo that make this room shimmer and shine! I always love the opportunity to add a fun pop of color to a space. It is gorgeous, glamorous, and just so darn fun! These little girls will feel nothing short of a princess when they hop in that tub!
For the side walls in the shower we used an elongated version of a traditional white subway tile. We added two small corner shelves near the shower head so these girls have PLENTY of space to store their products.
If the pink tub doesn’t already have you sold, just take a look at the wallpaper we used on the vanity wall. We wanted to add a pop of color to this white room without it being too overwhelming. Since floral wallpaper is making a big comeback, we decided on an adorable pattern from Anthropologie that matches perfectly with the pink tub. Using wallpaper in a room can feel like a bold move, but installing it on only one wall adds just enough interest to the room without overtaking the space. You can even use sticker wallpaper, so if you ever want to change things up, it can easily be removed.
For the vanity, we kept things bright and clean, using white shaker style cabinets and Delta polished chrome for the faucets. This room is incredible, to say the least! Just think of all the fun spa parties and bubble baths that will happen in this space! Okay, was I off when I said you’ll be wishing you were these little girls? 😉
