GIVEAWAY TIME! That’s right, back in December I joined Zephyr for their 2017 Designer Retreat, and partnered with them to give one person a Zephyr Range Hood of their own! Will you be the lucky winner? 

First things first, lets talk giveaway! I don’t know about you, but I have always loved a good kitchen hood. They are a beautiful design element, that, unfortunately, tends to get overlooked when creating a kitchen. But I am here to tell you that they are so worth the investment and become the focal point of any kitchen.

Okay, now that we have the giveaway covered, time for retreat details! This year, the Designer Retreat was located in San Francisco. Me and other fellow bloggers and designers had a blast exploring the city and learning more about Zephyr Hoods and their amazing company, while enjoying a few treats along the way!

Below are photo’s of the Zephyr’s impressive showroom where we learned all about the different styles of hoods and their ventilation process. Who knew hoods could play such an important role when in comes to indoor air quality (especially in kitchen’s)?! This is always good to keep in mind, especially if you have kiddos around the house!

After a day full of tours and workshops, we were treated to a luxurious evening at the Boulettes Larder, where we enjoyed hors d’oeuvres, wine and a delicious meal. Not only was the restaurant exquisite, but right outside our window was the Oakland Bay Bridge…talk about a breathtaking view!

I scream, you scream, we all scream….ICE CREAM! To end our trip with a cherry on-top, we visited the Museum of Ice cream…and guys, it did not disappoint! If you haven’t been to this museum yet, you need to add it to your bucket list. We may have had a little too much fun playing games, snapping pictures, and of course, enjoying some yummy ice cream! Thanks to Zephyr, this is definitely a weekend that will go down in the books!
