Today, we are taking you through a tour of the #countrysidecustom mudroom. The main purpose of this room was to keep alllllll the kids stuff organized in it’s own little place, and I’m pretty sure there is NO shortage of storage in this room!
We had not one but two built in locker systems, and we decided to enamel them navy to add a fun pop of color in the room. To keep the room from getting too dark, we selected a soft gray tile. I love this tile because it’s light enough to keep the room feeling bright, but dark enough so it’s forgiving when it comes to dirt getting brought into the house.
On the opposite wall from the built-in’s is…you guessed it, more storage! And one of my favorite features – the fact that there are doors both to the garage AND the exterior. Seriously, I wish more of our clients did this because I think it is SO smart!
