Welcome to the #countrysidecustom boy’s bathroom! This room is sleek with more masculine finishes (no bright pink tub…I know, big shocker). I can’t wait to fill you in on all of the details!
When designing this young boy’s bathroom, we wanted to give him a modern and sleek space that he could easily grow into. To tie in with the rest of the house, we used shaker style cabinets with a navy finish. I absolutely love to incorporate navy into the rooms I design, especially when they are paired with gorgeous brass hardware – – the look is so classic, I don’t think I’ll ever get sick of it! For the countertops, we used quartz because, as I’ve said before, it is much more durable and stain/scratch resistant. This is a tip I especially emphasize to clients when it comes to their kiddos spaces. Below is a short video preview of the room.
Instead of using vanity lights above the mirror, we chose to go the sconces route. On either side of the mirror are brass wall sconces. This definitely gives the room a more masculine look. They remind me of the lanterns you use when you are camping – so fun!
For the shower wall, we went with beveled white subway tile opposed to the classic subway tile, and a darker grout, again, to make it feel just a little bit more masculine.
Even though it is a fairly simple room, it has loads of character! The mixture of metals and navy accents make this the perfect space for a little boy. We hope you enjoyed this bathroom reveal! Tell us your favorite part in the comments!
Thank you for your sharing. I am worried that I lack creative ideas. It is your article that makes me full of hope. Thank you. But, I have a question, can you help me?
