In our opinion, Sherwin Williams Alabaster is the most versatile of white paint colors. It tends to look warm when paired with warm tones and cool when paired with cool tones — a dream, right?! It has a softer and warmer undertone in comparison to White Dove.
Benjamin Moore Swiss Coffee
There are so many reasons to love Benjamin Moore Swiss Coffee. This white is creamy, soft, and the least stark of the bunch. When choosing a white paint color, a fear we often hear is that it will make the space look cold — Swiss Coffee does the opposite. Swiss Coffee nears the neutral spectrum of our go-to white shades. If you’re looking for a more off-white shade, Swiss Coffee is for you.
Benjamin Moore White Dove
Our most used white paint color is Benjamin Moore White Dove. This softly shaded white has a warmer undertone but doesn’t come off yellow (huge bonus for a warmer white). It’s a light and luminous white that we cannot get enough of!
Sherwin Williams Pure White
As its name suggests, Sherwin-Williams Pure White is just that, a pure white paint. We love it because it gives off the most clean, modern vibes. Pure White is a bright white paint color that’s not overly stark, and it also doesn’t hold any obvious undertones. If white is what you want, white is what you get with this color!
When choosing a white paint color, you want the white you choose to fit your space as a whole. With that being said, it’s always important to think about how factors such as lighting and flooring will affect the overall color appearance — especially with colors like white.

What would you recommend for a white paint on walls with a white misterio quartz counter and lots of warm tone woods
Building a new home, mountain style with vineyard and mountains in the rear of the home. The 9 ft island and counters are phython black honed granite, cabinets medium light walnut. I am leaning toward Pure White wall color. There is quite a lot of light coming in from windows. Fireplace in great room trolled plaster with floor light gray limestone for hearth. I would like a trim color for baseboard with I think has a gray undertone to go with Pure White. What would you suggest?
